We understand that our patients are busy people and reluctant to schedule procedures that require several visits to our Huntington Beach dentist. Fortunately, several dental treatments which formerly needed several visits to finish are now completed using same day dentistry techniques.
TYPES OF SAME DAY DENTAL TREATMENTS
• Same Day Whitening- Advances in in-office teeth whitening allow us to see you one time to give you a brilliant white smile. The procedure works like regular in-office whitening. We apply an advanced whitener to your teeth and shine a special light on them. After about an hour, you have wonderfully white teeth that will last. Patients tell us they love the convenience of one-hour whitening as well as the results. Best of all, you do not need to schedule multiple appointments or spend time working with at-home professional whiteners.
• Same Day Crowns- Thanks, in part, to Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) we can create beautiful, crowns in our office and place them for our patients the same day. The procedure is very similar to traditional crowns; our dentist numbs the area and prepares your tooth. However, instead of an impression of the tooth, the dentist scans your tooth with a special hand-held scanner. The scanner sends information to a machine in our office that creates a durable all porcelain crown made from a single block of porcelain. Finally, our dentist places the crown, and your entire procedure is complete.
• Same Day Emergency Care- We are here for you in the event of an emergency, and now your treatment may be much faster than in previous years. Because we are able to create restorations in our office, emergency patients do not need to spend time with temporary fixes while waiting for permanent restorations.
