What Kind of Dentures Can I Get?

When teeth are damaged beyond repair some people decide to get dentures. This can be a rather rigorous undertaking, but can certainly revitalize and give symmetry to a person’s face. Of course there are different options for different people. Depending on the case, patients may have to get full or partial dentures in Northridge

Replacing missing teeth and surrounding tissue can ensure a person’s oral health is sustained. Only your dentist can decide based on your case. Of course, it’s good to know what kind of dentures you might need.
Complete or full dentures can be either conventional or immediate, but will take the place of full sets of teeth. Often, this involves the removal of remaining teeth, and a several month healing period before the dentures can be placed. Immediate dentures are prepped in advance and can be positioned once teeth are pulled. The problem is these require more adjustments to fit correctly. This is often considered a temporary solution.
Partial dentures are a removable replacement or bridge, which can be connected to metal framing. This holds the new one in place. A fixed bridge is often applied and attached to adjacent teeth, giving the denture stability. Treatment depends on your condition.
