Does Getting Veneers Require Surgery?

Your wax-up is a preview of your new smile that will give you an opportunity to make sure you like how your new smile looks.

 

After this appointment, we will create temporary veneers based on the wax-up design. These veneers are essentially a trial smile, so you can decide if you like the new look before you commit to it. Finally, we will duplicate your trial smile with your permanent veneers. While a small amount of enamel may be removed to ensure a comfortable, flawless fit, there is no need for surgical procedures.
